EXPLORE THE WORLD OF TEA

Welcome to our tea journey! Here, you'll explore various types of tea, their origins, health benefits, and unique brewing techniques.

GREEN TEA

Green Tea

Originating in East Asia, green tea has a rich history, cherished for its delicate flavor and numerous health benefits. It's renowned for its antioxidant properties, which promote heart health and may boost brain function.

Popular varieties include Matcha, known for its vibrant green color and frothy texture, and Sencha, a classic Japanese tea. Brewing green tea requires precise temperatures (around 80°C/176°F) to avoid bitterness and preserve its gentle flavors.

BLACK TEA

Black Tea

Black tea, often associated with robust flavors and rich aromas, is enjoyed worldwide. Common types include Earl Grey, flavored with bergamot, and Darjeeling, known as the "champagne of teas."

This tea is fully oxidized, giving it a darker color and stronger flavor than other teas. Steep it in boiling water for 3-5 minutes for the best taste. Black tea is also believed to aid digestion and may support heart health due to its antioxidants.

OOLONG TEA

Oolong Tea

Oolong tea is partially oxidized, sitting between green and black teas in flavor. With complex and floral notes, it offers a unique taste experience.

Popular varieties include Tieguanyin, also known as "Iron Goddess," and Da Hong Pao, or "Big Red Robe." Oolong is traditionally brewed in small clay pots and poured multiple times, allowing each steeping to reveal new flavors.

WHITE TEA

White Tea

White tea is a minimally processed tea with delicate flavors and a pale golden color. It is made from the young leaves and buds of the tea plant, which are simply withered and dried, preserving the tea’s natural taste and high antioxidant content.

Rich in antioxidants, white tea is believed to support skin health, boost the immune system, and protect against aging. Heat water to 160-185°F (70-85°C). White tea is best brewed at lower temperatures than green or black tea to prevent bitterness and preserve its delicate flavor.

HERBAL TEA

Herbal Tea

Herbal teas, like chamomile, peppermint, and rooibos, are made from a variety of plants and flowers, offering natural, caffeine-free options. Each blend brings unique benefits and soothing properties.

Chamomile is often consumed to aid sleep, while peppermint tea can help with digestion. Rooibos, originating from South Africa, is known for its earthy, nutty flavor. Herbal teas are often enjoyed for relaxation and wellness, reflecting the soothing essence of nature.
