During the summer of 2021 in an era of isolation, I spent a lot of time in nature with my family. A few months earlier, two of my favorite albums that happen to be sister albums: folklore and evermore by Taylor Swift, released and I listened to them almost everyday. Looking back, the associations I have for these songs and the time we spent in nature during the pandemic have overlapped, and now when I listen to these songs I remember the moments I had with my family as we sought peace during that tumultuous time.
