Born in South Korea, my family immigrated to the United States
when I was young and I was raised in Orange County, California.
After moving to the city of Los Angeles for college, I find inspiration
in the rich diversity and culture around me. My work focuses heavily
on sustainability and the harmful impacts of mass production and
consumer waste.
Through my art practice across collage, sculpture,
graphic design and more, I explore how repurposed and recycled
materials can reveal fragmented moments that connect our shared
human experiences. I am passionate about creating conversation
around consumption and environmental consciousness while also
making cutting-edge and emotionally resonant artwork.
